The establishment of Saraswati Vidya Niketan, Karimganj on 26th day of January 1997 was the beginning of a mission of the local people as well as Karyokartas of Vidyabharati, especially Sri Pankaj Singh, former organizing secretary, Shikhsa Vikash Parishad, Silchar and Dr. Kamalesh Dey, Child specialist, Karimganj. This was patronised by so many distinguished and dignified personalities of Karimganj Town. The mission of 1997 was brought to reality by a long journey of 16 years to fulfill the objectives of Vidya Bharati as well as aspirations of the people and now a days this institution is a center of socio-academic conciousness in Karimganj town and other districts of Barak region.

Our Mission

To develop such education strategy which can help in development of mentality which can lead to complete physical, mental, intellectual, spiritual development keeping respect towards Hindutya culture and the Nation.

To develop such education environment that can overcome and treat the infected social environment. To develop mentality that cries for the rurals, tribes, poor and needy and help them eagerly without the expectation for any return.

Saraswati Vidya Niketan, Karimganj was founded on 26th January 1997 with the aim of promoting and propagating the ideals and objectives of Vidya Bharati. Our vision was to develop it to a model vidyalaya, Where people from all sections of the society would join and make it a social institution. The Acharjya and vidyarthi and abhibhabaks would remain as arms of the same triangle to keep alive the Bharatiya culture and tradition through education.

Education is the essential ingredient that keeps the wheels of progress and development of a person running smoothly. Primary aim of education is to upgrade one's life and humanize it. The youth of a country are the leaders and trend setters of tomorrow. It is imperative that the youth be targeted to develop their physical, intellectual, spiritual and patriotic dimensions in order to be effective and useful for the nation. In the words of Swami Vivekanand, "Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in a child". I am very glad to find this school progressing in a tremandous rate and by this web window I hope this can connect to the globe of knowledge.

Bearing in mind that education is the only tool that uplifts the standard of society, there is a very wide prospect behind providing education by Saraswati Vidya Niketan Karimganj. The school has vision of becoming source of knowledge strengthening the people, not of revenue collection. Saraswati Vidya Niketan is a premier school run by Shiksha Vikash Parishad, Dakshin Assam affiliated to Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan which offers quality education from primary level to higher level. Apart from teaching we give special emphasis on cultural development of the students here. The medium of instruction is bengali upto class X and English upto XII.

  • Features

    Location: The school is located at the Banka Dutta Road at the centre of the Karimganj Town.

    Mode of Teaching Activities: Intensive Class room teaching, using of modern techniques in learning process, organizing seminar and workshop in different subjects and topics and all other activities of Vidya Bharati like excursion, quizes and debates, yoga, sharirik, sports, cultural festivals, annual meets, guardian meeting and samparka, bonovojon, social work (seba kaj), etc.

    Medium of Instruction: The medium of instruction is Bengali (up to class X) and English (For XI and XII).

Facilities

School Environment
The school is situated in a very peaceful environment. The school classroom has adequate supply to sunlight and fresh air and hence builds a healthy environment for the students.
Modern Technology Teaching
We at Saraswati Vidya Niketan provide our students with high quality education via modern teaching techniques. For primary level students there are special class routine where various games and exercises are organised in order to make the education system friendly and interesting.
School Library
The school has a well setup library full of books covering stories books, books on life of greatman etc. Other than daily news papers are also available to the students to get up to date with the informations. There is well setup reading room for the students. The list of the other books available includes Vedas, Upanishada and other epics of hinduism. The complete list of books will be notified soon.
Science Laboratory
The school has three well setup laboratory for scientific practices (Biology, Chemistry & Physics). The labs are well furnished with needed instruments and technitians.
Computer Teaching
Computer is a must in today's life to cope up with the global pace. Keeping that in mind, computer training is kept mendate from Class III to Class X students. There are specific faculties to teach students how to work with a computer.
Self-Publishing
The school has self publishing facility which provides books to the student from Ankur to class VII.
Singing & Dance Centre
The school has a separate provision for singing and dance coaching to students on every saturdays and sundays. Apart from that Drawing is also taught here.
Scout & Guide
The school has Indian Scout & Guide branch which enables the student to learn various exercises and to get involved in social activities.

বিদ্যালয়ের পরিচয়


বিদ্যা ভারতী অখিল ভারতীয় শিক্ষা সংস্থানের অন্তর্ভুক্ত শিক্ষা বিকাশ পরিষদ দক্ষিণ অসম প্রান্ত সমগ্র বরাক উপত্যকা তথা উওর কাছাড় পার্বত্য জেলার প্রাথমিক স্তর থেকে উচ্চতর পর্যায় পর্যন্ত বিভিন্ন বিদ্যালয় পরিচালনা করে। প্রত্যেক বিদ্যালয়ের সুষ্ঠ পরিচালনার জন্য পরিষদ কর্তৃক অনুমোদিত পরিচালনা সমিতিও রয়েছে।

আমাদের বিদ্যালয় একটি সামাজিক শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্টান। জাতির ভবিষ্যত শিশুদের সুষ্ট সংস্কার ও জীবন গঠনের জন্য এটি একটি সংস্কার কেন্দ্র।

শ্রেণীতে পাঠদান ছাড়াও বিভিন্ন ব্যবস্থা বৃওির বিকাশ সাধনা তথা সর্বাঙ্গীন উন্নতি সাধন করে শিশুদের স্বাবলন্বী করে তোলার জন্য বিদ্যালয়ে বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রম আয়োজন করা হয়।

ভারতীয় শিক্ষা দর্শনের আধারে পাঠদানের ভিওিকে সুদৃঢ় করার প্রয়াসের সাথে সদাচারের নিয়মিত শিক্ষা দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে।

বিদ্যালয়ে বিদ্যার্থীর সার্বিক বিকাশের জন্য শিশু ভারতী, আচার্য ভারতী ইত্যাদির ব্যবস্থা আছে।

শিশুদের আভ্যন্তরীণ বিকাশের জন্য বনবিহার, নগরদর্শন, খেলাধোলা, শিশু শিবির, শিক্ষা সভা, মাতৃ সুম্মেলন, অভিভাবক সম্মেলন, স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা, শারীরিক ইত্যাদি কার্যক্রম অনু্ষ্ঠিত হয়।

দৈনিক বন্দনায় পর বিদ্যালয়ের পাঠদান শুরু হয় এবং রাষ্ট্র বন্দনার পর বিদ্যালয় ছুটি হয়।

বিদ্যালয়ে শিক্ষার মাধ্যম মাতৃভাষা। তাছাড়া বিষয় শিক্ষা হিসাবে ইংরাজি, হিন্দী, সংস্কৃত ভাষা, গণিত, বিঙান, সাধারণজ্ঞান, সমাজ অধ্যয়ন, চিএকলা, সঙ্গীত, শারীরিক, নীতিশিক্ষা, সংগণক (Computer) ইত্যাদির শিক্ষা দানের ও ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে।

অবস্থান:- ভারত বাংলাদেশ আন্তর্জাতিক সীমান্তে কুশিয়ারা নদীর বাম পাশে অসম প্রদেশের করিমগঞ্জ জেলার সদর করিমগঞ্জ শহরের কেন্দ্রেস্থলে প্রধান সড়কের সংলগ্ন বঙ্কদও রোড় (হাসপাতাল রোড়)- এ এই বিদ্যালয়ের অবস্থান।

জমি :- বিদ্যালয়ের নিজস্ব ০.২৫ একর ভূমি।

ভবন :- পরিকল্পনা অনুযায়ী এিতল ভবন নির্মাণের কাজ চলছে। সঠিক পরিমাণমত আলো বাতাস ও পরিমাপ অনুযায়ী শ্রেণী কক্ষের ব্যবস্থা আছে।

শ্রেণী :- শিশুবাটিকা বিভাগে অঙ্কুর শ্রেণীতে ৩০টি আসন, মুকুল থেকে চতুর্থ শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত দুইটি শাখার ২৫টি করে ৫০টি আসন এবং পঞ্চম থেকে দশম শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত একটি শাখায় ৪০টি করে আসন।

সরকারী স্বীকৃতি :- রাজ্য সরকার ও সংশ্লিষ্ট্র শিক্ষা বিভাগ থেকে অনুমোদন প্রাপ্ত।

শিক্ষার মাধ্যম :- অঙ্কুর থেকে দশম শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত মাতৃভাষা (বাংলা)। একাদশ ও দাদশ শ্রেনীর শিক্ষার মাধ্যম ইংরেজী।

পাঠ্যক্রম :- অঙ্কুর থেকে ৭ম শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত বিদ্যালয়ের নিজস্ব পাঠক্রম এবং অষ্টম শ্রেণী থেকে ১০ম শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত রাজ্য সরকার ও মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা পর্ষদ নির্দেশিত পাঠক্রম। বিদ্যাভারতীর পঞ্চমুখী শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থা-

‘সরস্বতী শিশু বাটিকা’ নামে অঙ্কুর ও মুকুল শ্রেণীর ছাএ-ছাএীদের জন্য, শহরের বিপিনপাল রোড় অস্থায়ী পরিসরে ২০১১ শিক্ষাবর্ষ থেকে বিশেষ প্রকল্প শুরু হয়েছে।



সংগণক শিক্ষা- সংগণক (Computer) প্রয়োগশালার মাধ্যমে ৩য় শ্রেণী থেকে ১০ম শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত সংগণক শিক্ষার ব্যবস্থা।



পাঠাগার- বিদ্যার্থীদের জন্য গল্প, মহাপুরুষের জীবনী, পএ পএিকা ইত্যাদি পড়াশুনার ব্যবস্থা আছে।



খেলাধূলা ও শারীরিক :- খেলাধূলার বিভিন্ন উপকরণ ও শাশীরিকের সরঞ্জাম-ব্যাণ্ডস্যাট ইত্যাদি আছে।



অভিভাবক বৈঠক ও সম্মেলন :- শ্রেণী অনুসারে বৎসরে দুইটি বৈঠক ও অভিভাবক / মাতৃসম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।



শিশু ভারতী :- শিশুদের সর্বাঙ্গীন বিকাশে শিশুদের দ্বারা পরিচালিত একটি সংগঠন।



সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানর ও উৎসব পালন :- বিদ্যালয়ে বার্ষিক উৎসব, সরস্বতী পূজা, বিভিন্ন মহাপুরুষের জন্মজয়ন্তী পালন করা হয়। তাছাড়াও জেলা, রাজ্যিক ও রাষ্ট্রীয় স্তরে বিদ্যার্থীরা বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণ করে থাকে।



ভারত স্কাউট এণ্ড গাইড :- বিদ্যালয়ে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে ভারত স্কাউট এণ্ড গাইড এর শাখা আছে। এর মাধ্যমে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা বিভিন্ন শারীরিক অনুশীলন ও বিভিন্ন সামাজিক কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণ করে থাকে।



পরীক্ষা ব্যবস্থা :- অঙ্কুর-৮ম শ্রেণী- ২টি ত্রৈমাসিক পরীক্ষা, ষান্মাষিক ও বার্ষিক পরীক্ষা। ৫ম ও ৮ম শ্রেণীর জন্য শিক্ষা বিকাশ পরিষদ পরিচালিত প্রান্তীয় স্তরে মেধা পরীক্ষা। ৯ম-১০ম শ্রেণী- ত্রৈমাসিক (৪টি) ও ষান্মাষিক, বার্ষিক পরীক্ষা, তাছাড়া সাপ্তাহিক ও বিদ্যার্থীর দৈনন্দিন প্রগতির মূল্যায়ণ হয়।



বিদ্যালয় বেশ :-



বালক- লাল সাদা চেক শার্ট (হাফ/ ফুল্), নেভি ব্লু প্যান্ট (হাফ/ ফুল), কালো জুতা, নীল মোজা, বিদ্যালয় প্রদত্ত বেল্ট ।



বালিকা- লাল সাদা চেক শার্ট (হাফ/ ফুল)/কমিজ, নেভি ব্লু স্কার্ট / সলোয়ার ও উর্না, কালো জুতা, নীল মোজা ।



প্রকাশন বিভাগ :- অঙ্কুর-৭ম শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত বিদ্যার্থীদের পাঠ্যপুস্তক বিদ্যালয় থেকেই সরবরাহ করা হয়।



সরস্বতী সঙ্গীত ও কলাকেন্দ্র :- ইহা বিদ্যালয়ের একটি প্রকল্প। সপ্তাহে শনি ও রবিবারে সঙ্গীত, চিত্রকলা, নৃত্য ইত্যাদি পাঠদান করা হয়।



শিক্ষণ শুল্ক ও অন্যান্য শুল্ক :- অঙ্কুর শ্রেণী হইতে একাদশ শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত পৃথক পৃথক ভাবে মাসিক শুল্ক নির্ধারণ করা আছে। নতুন ভর্তি শুল্ক ও নবীকরন শুল্ক প্রতি বৎসর ডিসেন্বর/ জানুয়ারীতে একসাথে জমা নেওয়া হয়। শুল্কের হার ও যাবতীয় তথ্য বিদ্যালয়ের কার্যালয়ে পাওয়া যাইবে। অঙ্কুর শ্রেণীতে নতুন ভর্তির ক্ষেএে সর্বমোট ২৭৫৫/- টাকা একসঙ্গে জমা দিতে হইবে, তাছাড়া মাসিক শিক্ষণ শুল্ক প্রতি মাসে ২২৫/- টাকা করে প্রদয় থাকিবে।



অবকাশ :- শিক্ষাবর্ষে অবকাশ তালিকা বিদ্যালয় হইতে সরবরাহ করা হয়। উৎসব-পর্বাদিতে বন্ধ দেওয়া হয়, তাছাড়া গ্রীষ্মাবকাশ ও পূজাবকাশ থাকে।
